Effects of Early Feed Restriction on the Development of Immune Organs and Humoral Immune Function in Broilers

Experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of early feed restriction on the disease resistance ability and immune correlated index of broilers.The results showed that early feed restriction treatments significantly reduced the total incidence and total mortality of broiler.This was correlated with the accelerated development of spleen,Fabricius bursa,thymus and the increased humoral immune function of fed restricted broiler.The feed conversion ratio and the final body weight of broiler were not significantly changed by early feed restriction.
