Abstract
The results of the activity of rhodojaponin-Ⅲ to the 4th larvae of spotopter liture indicated that antifeedant and stomach toxicity were primary and contact action was secondary.Against the 4th instar larvae of Spodoptera litura F.24 hours after treatment,the AFC50value was 16.39 μg/mL with leaf dishs,the LC50 was 66.56 μg/mL with feeding on treated leaves,the LD50 was 844.49 μg/mL with topical application and the LC50 was 590.32 μg/mL with Potter sprayer.Results of physiological and biochemical tests showed that daily consumption and the amount glucose of body fluid and the whole larvae of the 4th larvae of S.liture were reduced significantly.
