Abstract
The assessments of the Chinese developmental dyslexia have not yet been standardized and generally accepted, which has greatly impeded the research and application of the Chinese developmental dyslexia. This paper first discussed and analyzed the assessments used in existing reports, and then, based on the understanding of the general definition of developmental dyslexia and taking into consideration the Chinese characterristics of Chinese character recognition,it is suggested that both word decoding test and semantic access test should be regarded as the diagnostic tests of the Chinese developmental dyslexia.
