TCM treatment for postcholecystectomy diarrhea

According to TCM,body energy was damaged after cholecystectomy.Absence of gallbladder and deficiency of bile affect movement and transformation of the spleen and stomach.The deficiency of spleen results in diarrhea.The inadequate care and overstrain of patients will damage Qi of the spleen and stomach and obstruct the flow of Qi.Gradually,it will have simultaneous occurrence of cold and heat.The disease is closely related to gallbladder dysfunction,liver-stomach disharmony,dys-splenism,endoretention of damp heat,Qi and blood stasis.Based on overall concept,we may focus on syndrome differentiation and adopt various treatment methods such as TCM and acupuncture in order to achieve good curative effect.
