The Resources and Protection of Birds in the Wetland of the Gouxi River in Sichuan

In the wetland area of the Gouxi River,Sichuan,there are 46 species of birds found,belonging to 7 orders and 8 families.1 species is the national second-grade protected bird,and 5 species are Sichuan Provincial protected birds.But owing to lack of powerful protection,and because of other problems such as water pollution,illegally hunting and the disturbances from the tourists,the habitats of the bird species are endangered.It is high time that we should take action to protect and regain the living surroundings for the birds here.
