Abstract
Objective:To elucidate the mechanism of matrine on anti hepatic fibro sis. Methods: Randomly divided into 2 groups: matrine treatment group and control group. The matrine treatment group was give n matrine 200 mg per day by intravenous injection, and the control group was admi nistered Diammonium Glyeyrrhizinate 30 ml and Danshen 14 ml by intravenous injection. The therapeutic course was 8 week.Serum fibrosis markers were measure d by RIA. Results:At the end of treatment, the leve ls of serum ALT, AST, TBil and fibrosis markers were lower in matrine group than those in control group. Conclusion:The result indicated that matrine can ameliorate the inflammatory activity and fibrogenesis in chronic hepatitis.
