Clinical Observation on Yaowulong Penetration Needling Combined with TCM In Treatment of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Protrusion

Objective:To observe the effect of Yaowulong penetration needling combined with TCM on treating lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion.Methods:262 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.132 cases in treatment group were given Yaowulong penetration needling with horizontal or oblique insertion,one needle was for several points and bird-peck needling was used for purging.In addition,TCM drugs were also used.132 cases in control group were given routine needling and eletroacupuncture with dilatational wave when Qi arriving.Results:The effective rates in treatment and control groups were 93.9% and 74.6% respectively(P0.05).The cured rates in in treatment and control groups were 69.7% and 46.9% respectively(P0.01).The treatment group was superior to the control group.Both of two groups can decrease VAS scores(all P0.01).VAS score in treatment group decreased more than that in control group.Conclusion:Yaowulong penetration needling combined with TCM drugs has obvious effect on treating lumbar intervertebral disc protrusion.
