Abstract

An aquatic plants system in pond was established by planting Eichhornia crassipes.Pistia stratiotes,Alternanthera philoxeroides(Mart.)Griseb to study effect of the system on purifying the intensive-aquaculture water body. Results demonstrated that three kinds of aquatic plants grew well during the experiment. And the concentrations of TN and TP in the water were significantly lower than the beginning,NH+4-N concentrations were decreased to 0.2mg L-1 or less.At the end of the experiment, the order of the amount of nitrogen and phosphorus absorption was Pistia stratiotesAlternanthera philoxeroides(Mart.)GrisebEichhornia crassipes.Eichhornia crassipes had a significant better purification effect on TN,TP than the others.Pistia stratiotes had better purification effect on NH+4-N,NO-2-N than Eichhornia crassipes and Alternanthera philoxeroides(Mart.)Griseb.
