Abstract

It has been shown that the combination of marker-assisted selection with traditional breeding technology could enhance breeding efficiency.This paper reviewed major progresses achieved in the application of marker-assisted selection in rice breeding,and the problems encountered were discussed and the measurements to be taken were proposed.
