Abstract
In the sixty years since the foundation of PRC,the scientific and technological innovation in China has experienced both pain and joy.We ought to learn from successful experience and find out shortcomings.In this paper we have analyzed plentiful data of sci-tech achievements,sci-tech investments,sci-tech human resources,innovative environment and sci-tech potential productivity,shown developmental characteristics of the scientific and technological innovation in China,and pointed out that the future strategic priorities of scientific and technological innovation in our country will rest with the improvement of national innovative system and the construction of an innovation-oriented country.
