Abstract
Objective To evaluate advantage of minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the treatment of complicated renal calculi. Methods A total of 92 cases of complicated renal calculi patients patients according to therapeutic method were divided into the traditional open operation renal surgery(open group)50 cases and minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy treatment(minimally invasive group) 42 cases, the treatment effect were compared. Results The operation time, postoperative complications, fever, the stone-free rate in the two group had no significant difference(P 0.05).The amount of intraoperative bleeding, blood transfusion rate, hospitalization time in minimally invasive group was significantly less than the open group(P 0.05).The hospital costs in minimally invasive group were significantly higher than those in open group(P 0.05).Conclusion Minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy in treatment of recurrent renal calculi has minimally invasive typical advantages, the stone-free rate is high, and patients should be based on the economic situation to carry on the reasonable choice.
