Abstract
Desert oasis region is mainly the life place for people in arid regions, and there contains abundant natural resources. With the development of industrialization society, more and more scholars in both home and abroad made plenty of study on the natural resources, circumstance and exploitation in desert oasis region. After analyzing the ecological environment of northwest oasis agriculture, such as climate condition, distribution characteristics of vegetation cover, soil and hydrology, the paper explained the characteristics of oasis agriculture further, brought forward the measures of sustainable development of oasis agriculture, namely, making full use of the predominance of resources, developing feature industry, reasonably allocating water resources and making up the mode of sustainable development.
