Abstract
Minpu Bridge 2 in Shanghai is a cable-stayed bridge with the steel plate-truss composite girder, a single pylon and double cable planes. The main pylon is of the single column type along the bridge and the H-formed structure across the bridge. Introduced hereby is the pylon design. A . static analysis is made longitudinally based on the dead load, active load, temperature impact and wind load. The force across the bridge is also analyzed in the stages of construction and completion of the pylon and when the bridge is finished, including the ways of construction to overcome the self-weight bending moment and the transverse cracks in the cross beam generated from the slanted pylon column.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
