Abstract
The main bridge of Banfu No.2 Bridge in Zhongshan is a single pylon with double cable planes,asymmetrically ca-ble-stayed bridge with the span arrangement at(77+102) m.In the design,the pylon,main girder and pylon pier are rigidly built.In this paper,the design of the main girder,pylon,cable stays and sub-structure is detailed and the key results of static analysis are given.The bridge's mode of vibration,dynamic characteristics under seismic actions and buckling safety factor are derived by dynamic calculations and the given parameters are the key points for designing the complete bridge.
