A Study of the Legality of the Environment for Sustainable Development in the Ethnic Areas in the Development of West China

Abstract
Most of the ethnic minorities live in the central-west area with poor natural resources and lower level of economic development,which,together with some historical factors,results in the lower level of cultural quality and the weakness of law awareness.In most ethnic areas,the ecologic environment is poor,and the capacity for sustainable development is quite low.The calling for developing the west brings opportunities to the development of economy in the ethnic areas as well as challenges to them.This essay is going to discuss some issues related to the law environment for sustainable development in the ethnic areas in the aspects of legislation,judicature,and observation of the law.It also attempts to present some advice to perfect the law environment in the ethnic areas and thus to guarantee the sustainable development in those areas.
