Abstract
This paper reveals the inside reasons why the Chinese and Western costumes have the different appearances through the concluding the different cultural particularities which exhibit during the development of the Chinese and Western clothes.At the meantime,it elucidates the cultural backgrounds and the aesthetically connotation which influence the two directions of the two kinds of costumes.
