Abstract

Tao Wangling was one of earliest figures at Han Lin Academy of Ming Dynasy who worked hard to eliminate influence of the restorationist school.He had an immaculate life experience and held a highly respected government office.Duing period,Tao Wangling,Yuan Zongdao and Huang Pingqian belong to same group.They opposed restorationists.And Tao Wangling played an important role in promoting Gong An School in literary circles.He made friends with Li Zhi who was a progressive personage that time.Furthermore,the thoughts of Li Zhi have a farreaching influence on Tao wangling.At same time,he had a close coordinatiom with Yuanbrothers of Gong An School.They maintain a profound friendship all their life.
