Abstract
Objective: To study the distribution of ApoE gene in patients with Alzheimer desease (AD) and the relationship between them. Method: ApoE genotypes were determined by PCR RFLP technique, and the correlation between ApoE allele polymorphism and AD was analyzed. Results: ApoE e 4 allele in patients with AD was 20.74%,significantly higher than that in the control group(7.64%), and e 3 allele in patients with AD was 64.63%,significantly lower than that in the control group (84.12%). Conclusion: The ApoE allele e 4 may be a genetic susceptible factor to AD,and e 3 allele be a protection factor.
