Study on Development Trend of Agricultural Water-saving Technology in North China Area—A Case of Hebei Province

Abstract

On the background of the water shortage has become a critical factor impacting seconomy of China, developing agricultural water-saving technology is an effective way to increase water utilization. In the paper, technical measures of water-saving agriculture in the aspects of engineering technology, agronomic measures, biological methods,management means and so on are introduced,and the trend of the international advances in agricultural water-saving technology are explored. On this basis,the development situation and existing problems of water-saving agriculture in Hebei Province where is the major agricultural production base of north China area are analyzed,at the same time,some measures of water-saving agriculture against the special environmental conditions of Hebei Province are proposed,to provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for the development of watersaving agriculture in the area.
