Clinical Investgarion Analysis of Maloccluslon of 896 Mongolia Students in Baotou

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the siruation and factors of malocclusion happening among the Mongolia studens in Baotou.Methods: 896 middle school students at the age of 12~16 were investigated about malocclusion.Results: The rate of malocclusion was 83.26% when the ideal normal occlusion was taken as the criterion.The incidence of Angle Class I malocclusion was highest(51.07%).There was no difierence in the incidence of malocclusion between the female and the male.Conclusion: The malocclusion of the students in Baotou was complicated and related to various factors.We should strengthen the work on the treatment of malocclusion.
