Design of An Electric Energy Metering Concentrator Based on the Embedded System

Concentrator,as an important component of the metering system,whether performances well will directly affect the efficiency of the metering system.This paper introduced the design of an electric energy metering concentrator by adopting the advanced embedded system technology.The electric energy metering concentrator offers the desirable features of high speed and strong function,etc.Furthermore,it not only can be applied in the districts covered of the LAN through the Ethernet,but also can be applied in the districts or remote rural areas where there is no broadband accessing through the GPRS.With appropriate adjustments,the concentrator can be used in water supply systems and gas supply systems.It can provide the function of reading the degrees of water,electricity and gas in the same meter.
