Abstract
Objective To perform a microbiological analysis of a case of food poisoning.Method Testing of intestinal bacteria was performed according to the method as described in GB/T4789-2003.Real-time PCR was also used in the identification of the pathogens.Result Using real-time PCR,Vibrio parahaemolyticus was found in 5 out of 6 food samples.Vibrio parahaemolyticus was also found in 11 out of 16 anal swab.A total of 3 serotypes, namely K6,K41 and K56,were identified. Conclusion The food poisoning was caused by 3 different serotypes of Vibrio parahaemolyticus.
