Abstract
A Matlab Simulation model of the parallel active power filter is set up for typical harmonic source load.Instantaneous reactive power theory is applied to it and three phase rectifier is used as load.It is used to verify the going of the strategy or the parameters under the practical condition. The simulation result reveals that the active power filter based on Instant Reactive Power Theory is greatly effective to the most typical harmonic source for power line,three-phase rectifier.
