Abstract

The instantaneous reactive power theory is widely used in the detections of harmonic and reactive current in three-phase active power filter. The method detecting harmonic current using instantaneous reactive power theory in single-phase active power filter by phase-shifting structured approach is presented. Also the harmonic current can be detected based on rotating reference frame method. The basic principle analysis and simulation results in single-phase parallel active power filter of these methods are presented. The simulation results verify the proposed methods.
