Effect of artificial tear mytear in treatment of xeroma

Objective To explore the clinic efficacy of artificial tear mytear after phacoemulsification cataract surgery.Methods A total of 132 cases of phacoemulsification cataract surgery were analyzed in our hospital from 2011 April to2013 January.The patients were devided into control group(64 cases) which treated by conventional therapy including tobramycin eye drops,compound tropicamide eye drops and dexamethasone eye drops,while treatment group(68cases) which treated on the basis of conventional therapy plus artificial tears.SIT 、FL and BUT were compared.Results(1) In two groups after the treatment,SIT,FL,BUT levels were significantly higher than that before treatment,the two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).After treatment,SIT,FL,BUT levels were significantly higher than those in the control group,there was statistically significant difference between two groups(P0.05).(2) The total clinical effective rates in the treatment group and the control group were 92.6%(63/68),89.7%(51/64),there was statistically significant difference(χ2=4.70,P0.05).Conclusion Artificial tear mytear in treatment of xeroma after cataract ultrasonic emulsification operation,can improve the symptoms,the exact effect,and worthy of clinical application.
