Law and Punishment of Tang Dynasty

The research results about the laws of Tang Dynasty are quite rich,but there are still limitations.In the past the research relied on Commentaries on the Code of Tang excessively.As the result,the annals and commentaries in the official history and some officially organized history books have been seldom explored and used.It is inevitable to result in the narrow researching view and repetition of researching conclusion due to the limitation of materials.If efforts are made in the aspect of material,it can be found that more lessons and experience in the legal system of Tang Dynasty are worthy of studying.Maybe it takes time to start further exploration and research on the laws of Tang Dynasty(not limited to Tang Code).
