Abstract
Objective: To observe the effect of Angelicasinensic (DangGui) injection on hypertrophic cardiomyocyte through establishing model of my-ocardical hypertrophy. Methods: Neonatal rat ventricular myocytes were isolated and cultured in vitro. Myocardical hypertrophy was induced by An-giotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ ). Then access the effect of Angelicasinensic (DangGui) injection on the myocardical hypertrophy by the following method: Measure diameter of myocytes and content of cellular protein. Results: Ang Ⅱ can obviously increase the diameter of myocytes and the cellular protein content of myocytes (P0.01) while Angelicasinensic (DangGui) injection can decrease the improvement in the cellular diameter and protein con-tent(P0.05). Conclusion: Angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ ) has the effect of inducing hypertrophy and Angelicasinensic (DangGui) injection can inhibit myocardial hypertrophy certainly.
