Abstract
Effect of different gas compositions on physiology and storage quality of the red fuji apple fruit was studied,under the condition of the ice temperature,and the reasonable parameters of the ice-temperature controlled atmosphere storage of red fuji apples were explored.The results showed that,freezing point of 80% mature red fuji apples was-1.5 ℃,and there was a significant negative correlation between the freezing point temperature and the fruit maturity.The appropriate ice temperature CA storage significantly inhibited the red fuji apple respiration rate and the ratio of ethylene production,slowed down the relative conductivity raise of the organization,mitigation flesh firmness and soluble solids(TSS) decreased,the fruits still maintained good quality after storage for 8 months.The combination of 1%~3%O2 with CO22% was recommended ice-temperature CA storage conditions for red fuji apple.
