Study on Raising Farmers' Income in Gansu Province

A number of factors affect farmers' income increase in Gansu Province,including agricultural restructuring,agricultural development,countryside development,ecological environment improvement,social undertakings development,migration of rural workers,and adjustment of fiscal and taxation policies.Therefore,to raise farmers' income is a complicated and long-term task.Facilitating farmer's income growth should be one of overall policies and development objectives of Gansu Province,with the same importance as being an industrially leading province.To raise farmers' income in Gansu Province,the following measures are suggested to be taken: developing featured agriculture,developing labor-based economy,advancing industrialization of agriculture,enhancing farmers' comprehensive strength,pushing ahead land system reform in countryside,and promoting the construction of new socialist countryside.
