A Study of Promoting the Increase in the Income of Farmers in Guizhou ——Research Based on Institutions and Mechanisms

The core of resolving the problems ofagriculture, countryside and farmersis solving the problem of increasing farmers'income. The income of farmers in Guizhou is relatively low and comes mainly from farming. The main reasons are: irrational agricultural structure, insufficient agricultural input, backward human resource development, lagging behind of management system reforms in the countryside, relatively heavy burden on farmers, and striking dual structure between town and country. Therefore, we should take corresponding measures in terms of industrial restructuring in the countryside, fiscal and financial support, market system construction, industrialization of agriculture, improving farmers' overall quality, and lightening their burden.
