Abstract
Sodium ferrate was prepared by the single lack of understanding electrolysis cell of the sheet iron as an anode, the copper as a cathode and sodium hydroxide as solutions.Obtaining the 0.06 mol·L-1 of sodium ferrate in the suitable electrolysis condition, the effect and impacts of removing phenol by sodium ferrate oxidative degradation were discussed. The result showed that the optimal pH is 9,the optimal temperature range of 20~30 ℃;the ratio of sodium ferrate to phenol is 15:1 and the reaction time is 30 mins for sodium ferrate oxidizing phenol, the removal rate achieves 65%.
