Abstract

Charitable donation in aid of disadvantage groups is playing an increasingly important role in building a harmonious society. Based on the research foreign scholars, the present study proposed 18 factors in four areas, i.e. citizenship, charitable organizations, governments and social environment. Using survey data and the statistical tool SPSS, we established the influencing factors model of private charitable donations of Shandong province. It is found that 9 factors including citizens’monthly income, educational level and others’encouragement show a positive correlation with private charitable donations, but taxation policies and the poor popularity of charitable organizations exerts a negative impact on private donation.
