Shift-Share Analysis of Industrial Structure in Rizhao City

Based on the statistical data from 1995 to 2009,this paper in foundation of analyzing the characteristic of the third industry structure of Rizhao City,taking Shandong Province as reference,adopting shift-share analysis method,analyzes the present condition of the third industrial structure of Rizhao City.The results show that development of the third industry is smooth and it accords with general law,but proportion of sunset industry is higher.It is more competitive of the third industry,but competition of the primary industry is more and more weak.It is the biggest of contribution of the secondary industry,and tertiary industry develops deficient.Finally,it puts forward countermeasures: vigorously develop modern agriculture,accelerate the construction of modern agricultural system;with the development of the emerging service industry as a breakthrough,to vigorously develop the tertiary industry;to speed up the transformation of traditional industry,cultivate industry of new and high technology,strengthen the development of the second industry.
