Research on Parcel Numbering Method and Its Implementation

Since few expert researches on parcel numbering methods,this paper came up with three parcel numbering methods which were Simplifying MBR Numbering,Improving Cone Model Numbering and Recursive Division Numbering.After expounding the principle and numbering steps of these methods in details,this paper analyzed and compared those advantages and disadvantages.The Simplifying MBR Numbering was realized by using VBA program of ArcGIS and tested by experimental data.The results demonstrated that the effect of this numbering method had made progress to a certain extent.
