An Empirical Study on the Interaction between Industrial Structure Upgrading and Human Capital Development in Zhejiang

The evolution of the industrial structure is not isolated; all of the factors of economic development are likely to affect the change of industrial structure. As one of the important factors to promote economic growth,human capital brings readjustment to the industrial structure by influencing the factors of supply and demand. The article analyzes the interaction of human capital development and industrial structure from theory and assumption. Based on the data from 1996 to 2012 of Zhejiang Province,the test result suggests that there is longterm and stable relationship between industrial structure upgrading and human capital development,and upgrading of the industrial structure is the reason of the development of human capital,but human capital development is not the reason of industrial structure upgrading.
