Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of Xiaochaihu Decoction improving the immune function and inhibiting the tumor proliferation of H22 hepatoma. Methods: 30 mice were preferred as the research objects H22 hepatoma mice models were established with intraperitoneal injection of H22 hepatoma. All mice were randomly divided into control group,low-dose,middle dose and high dose Xiaochaihu Decoction groups,5-FU group and H22 hepatoma model groups,5 mice of each group. The group weight, inhibition rate, serum tumor markers and the levels of inflammatory factors of each group were compared. Results: ①Weight Analysis: the weight of mice of Xiaochaihu high-dose group was not statistically significant than that of the normal control group( P 0. 05). The weight of mice of 5-FU group was significantly decreased than that of the control group( P 0. 05). ②The rate of inhibition: the rate of inhibition of 5-FU was higher than that of the other treatment groups, while Xiaochaihu medium and high dose groups inhibition was higher than that of the low dose group, and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). ③Serum tumor markers:the middle and high-dose Xiaochaihu Decoction groups serum alpha-fetoprotein( AFP) and carcinoembryonic antigen( CEA) were lower than that of the low-dose group and 5-FU group, whereas ferritin( SF) was higher than that of the low-dose group and the 5-FU group. ④Levels of inflammatory factors: Xiaochaihu Decoction high-dose group's NK cell activity,IL-2 and INF-γ levels were significantly higher than that of the low-dose group and 5-FU group, while TNF-α levels were significantly lower than that of the low-dose group and 5-FU group, and the difference was statistically significant( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Xiaochaihu Decoction certain dose can effectively inhibit the growth of cancer cells in mice H22 liver cancer, and can improve the body's immunity levels.
