Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical effects of Kirschner's wire and clavicular hook plates in treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocation. Methods Totally 59 cases with acromioclavicular joint dislocation underwent surgical treatment by using different fixation including Kirschner's wire in 35 cases and clavicular hook plates in 24 cases. Results According to average 11 months follow-up,the excellent rate of shoulder function was 100% in the cases fixed with CHP,was better than that of the cases fixed with K-wire of 71.4%.Conclusion The treatment of acromioclavicular joint dislocation with CHP is better than Kirschner's wire, which displays advantages of rigid fixation, high achievement ratio and early functional exercise. It is worthy of recommending.
