Abstract
Based on the FEM structure analysis with parameter model, the concept design of the frame is obtained. Then the strength and stiffness of the frame of the self-propelled trailer in two case, with shell63 and solid45 of ANSYS. Based on the optimization design program written by APDL, the frame is remodeled parametrically and the structure design is optimized while satisfying the strength need.
