Expression of Survivin and MMP-9 in Endometriosis and their Significance and their Relative Aisnalys

Objective To detect the expression of anti-apoptosis Survivin and MMP-9 in endometriosis,and to explore the role of apoptosis in the pathogenesis of endometriosis.Methods The expression of Survivin and MMP-9 were detected by EnVisionmethod of immunohistochemistry in 40cases of ectopic endometrium with endometriosis,40cases of eutopic endometrium with endometriosis and 40 cases with normal endometrium.Results The positive expression rate of Survivin in ectopic endometrium,eutopic endometrium and normal endometrium were 77.5%,60.0%,and 7.5% respectively and the positive expression rate of MMP-9 were 72.5%,62.5% and 20% respectively.The expression of Survivin and MMP-9 in ectopic endometrium andeutopic endometrium were significantly higher than that of the normal endometrium(P0.05).The Pearson relative aisnalys showed that significantly positive correlation was found between the expression of Survivin and MMP-9(P0.05).Conclusion The over expression of survivin and MMP-9 may play an important role in the pathogenesis of endometriosis,and they may cooperatively take part in the formation and progression of endometriosis.
