On regional economic and social development based on factor analysis——a case of Anhui Province

Abstract

Based on factor analysis,the paper collects data from 17 cities of Anhui province,then constructing 11 data indicators which reflect the regional economic and social development,and uses SPSS17.0 software factor to analyze the 11 data indicators by factor analysis,so extracting economic strength factor and living standard factor to appraise the regional economic and social development situation in Anhui province.
