A Comparative Study of the Differences in Regional Economic Development in Anhui Province

In the 11th Five-Year period,the strategies of central region rising,east-orientation in Anhui,and central city have brought substantial opportunities to the economic development of all regions in Anhui province.The economic development in Anhui province has acquired tremendous achievements.Anhui becomes one member of the 100 billion yuan GDP club.However,compared with the economic development in China or in other five middle provinces,there are some problems in economic development of Anhui province.In this paper,an effective index evaluation system is designed and the principal components analysis is employed to get a comprehensive reflection of all the regional economic development level in Anhui.The economic development status in Anhui is evaluated and comprehensively studied.
