Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the the clinical effect of electro-acupuncture and acupoints massage combined with therapeutic massage exercises on treating tempromandilbular disorders.Methods:100 patients with tempromandilbular disorders were selected and divided randomly into two groups:electro-acupuncture and acupoints massage combined with therapeutic massage exercises treatment group(multipal group),electro-acupuncture treatment group(control group).The clinical effect and the relapse rate within three months were observed after treatment respectively.Results:The total effective rate of the multipal group group reached 90.0% and the recovery rate and relapse rate within three months was 70.0% and 11.1%respectively.For the control group the three figures was 78.0%,56.0%and 29.7%.Two groups have significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion:It suggested that electro-acupuncture and acupoints massage combined withtherapeutic massage exercises treatment is a safe,effective way to treat tempromandilbular disorders.
