Status of Studies on the Mechanisms of Infertility in Patients with Varicocele

Varicocele is one of the common male genitourinary diseases of.Some studies have shown that varicocele can affect male fertility.Additionally,WHO has classified varicocele as the primary reason of male infertility.Recently,both domestic and foreign researchers have dome extensive clinical and experimental researches on the mechanism of varicocele-related infertility,raising a number of possible mechanisms and having made substantial progresses.Nevertheless,the mechanism of VC infertility is still unclear.This article reviews the recent new viewpoints.
