Abstract
Varicocele is one of the most common diseases of the male reproductive system.Despite the huge amount of research work that has been done, the mechanisms of infertility in varicocele patients have yet to be fully understood. The development of the disease might be related to many factors including microcirculation of the testis, vasoactive substance, reactive oxygen species, nitricoxide, hypoxia, immunological factors and apoptosis. This review updates the knowledges on the mechanisms of infertility in varicocele males.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
