Abstract
Denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis(DGGE) is an advanced molecular fingerprinting technique. Because of its objective, rapid and accurate assessment character, DGGE has extensively been used on assessment of the diversity and changes of bacterial species in the microbial population. This article reviewed the principle, merits and limitations of DGGE technique and also reviewed the latest research in the oral cavity with this novel technique.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
