Abstract

Mariculture has made continuous contribution to thesupply of world marine products in recent years. Whereas unfavorable effects aroused from mariculture on the oceanic and coastal biodiversity and on the sustainable utilization of marine resources have drawn wide attention of the mass and scientists from home and aboard in the fields of ocean and environment.This article summarizes the effects of mariculture on biodiversity from various aspects,and prospects the countermeasures of protecting biodiversity of mariculture industry in our country.This article aims to offer reference for the mariculture sustainable development,the sustainable utilization of marine resources and the biodiversity protection.
