Clinical Observation on the Treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis with Qinzhi Decoction(QD,秦知汤)

Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of QD in treating rheumatoid arthritis.Method:86 patients were randomly divided into the treatment group(52 cases) treated with QD and the control group(34 cases) treated with common threewingut root and tablet mezolin.The symptoms,signs and some laboratory indexes such as ESR,CRP and RF were detected before and after treatment.Result:In the treatment group,32 cases effective, 16 cases turned better,4 cases ineffective,the total effective rate was 92.3%.In the control group,9 cases effective,12 cases turned better,13 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 61.8%.The difference between the two groups was notable (P0.05). The incidence of side effect in the treatment group(5%) was significantly lower than that in the control group(38.2%) (P0.05). Conclusion: QD has better effect in treating rheumatoid arthritis and has less side effect.
