Observation of Qufengqingro Huayutongluo Decoction on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis

Objective To observe the effect of Decoction with expelling wind and removing heat on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods 120 Patients with rheumatoid arthritis were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in control groups(n=60) were treated by routine therapy(buprofen,300mg,twice a day,Glucosidorum Tripterygll Totorum,2 tablets,three times a day).Patients in treatment groups(n=60) were treated by Qufengqingro Huayutongluo Decoction.Changes of sings,symptoms and Lab index were observed in both groups.Result The total effective rate in treatment group(91.67%) was not higher than that in control group(86.67%,P0.05).There was improvement of arthralgia,engorgemen,tenderness,and morning stiffness after treatment in treatment group(P0.05).There was not improvement of morning stiffness after treatment in control group(P0.05).But there were improvements of arthralgia,engorgemen,and tenderness after treatment in control group(P0.05).ESR,RF,CRP and IgG after treatment were decreased than those before treatment in both groups(P0.05).The results showed that decrease of ESR,RF,CRP in treatment group were superior to those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion Qufengqingro Huayutongluo Decoction has a good effect on treating rheumatoid arthritis.
