Ultrasonic Diagnosis of the Duplex Kidneys With Malformation in Children

Abstract

Objective To analyze the ultrasonic features of the duplex kidney and the diag-nostic value for the lesion.Methods The ultrasonic imaging characteristics of the duplex kidney malformation identified by operative pathology was summarized after operation.Results The ultrasonography showed that26cases of them (71%)were complicated with hydronephrosis including17cases existed ectopic of ureberal orifice,ureter cyst in9cases.6cases of duplex kidney without hydronephyrosis,its apperance was two groups of collective system.Conclusion The ultrasonographic examination has a reliable value in the diagnosis of malformation with double kidney.
