Abstract
Objective: To evaluate clinical effect of Qilou Granule on life quality, anxiety and depression of coronary heart disease(CHD) patients with chronic heart failure. Methods: Sixty-four cases of CHD patients with chronic heart failure of qi deficiency, yang deficiency and phlegm stasis syndrome were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 32 cases in each group. Patients in control group accepted routine treatment of western medicine, while patients in treatment group accepted the Qilou Granule in addition to western medicine. After three months treatment, 6-minute walk test(6MWT), BNP, Minnesota living with heart failure questionnaire(LHFQ), Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA) and Hamilton depression scale(HAMD) were used to measure the clinical effect of Qilou Granule in the trial. Results: The scores of 6-minute walk test, BNP, LHFQ, HAMA and HAMD in the treatment group were significant different before and after treatment(P0.05). The result indicated that the treatment group was superior to the control group(P0.05). Conclusion: Qilou Granule could improve the cardiac function, the mood of anxiety and depression and the quality of life of CHD patients with chronic heart failure.
